Mhorai Magical Abilities​

Mhorai possess the ability to manipulate the elements, including Light, Darkness, Water, Fire, Air, and Earth. The older the Mhorai, the stronger their connection to their elemental power becomes, allowing them to bend their element with greater skill and control. In rare instances, some Mhorai have the ability to wield two elements simultaneously, a rare and powerful gift that sets them apart as extraordinary individuals.

The Moon-Awakening is the most exceptional and powerful ability a Mhorai can possess. This transformation happens when a Mhorai taps into the immense, celestial energy of the Moon, causing parts of their body to turn a brilliant white, surrounded by a glowing aura. The extent of this transformation depends on the Mhorai's power: first-generation Mhorai - those born from the Moon Deity’s energy - are able to fully transform, turning their entire body white. Subsequent generations, born of two parents, can only turn half of their body white. During this transformation, Mhorai become highly aggressive and unpredictable, as their bodies are flooded with intense energy. Approaching a Mhorai in this state is extremely dangerous.

All Mhorai share a connection to aether, a mystical energy that courses through their veins. This connection grants them a subtle bioluminescence, causing them to glow faintly in low light. This glow becomes more pronounced when they use their magic, visible in their eyes, mouth, paw pads, and even open wounds. The colour of this bioluminescence is tied to the element they wield: those who control Fire might glow with an orange hue, while those wielding Water may emit a cool, blue light.​
